Our client is a well-known securities company which now requires a Country Head of HR to be based in their Bangkok office.The group provides a variety of financial products and services not focusing solely on securities but also on commercial banking, insurance and asset management.

Reporting directly to the CEO in Thailand, this is a role for an experienced HR Generalist who would like to take the country lead. The critical role will be responsible for covering everything from HR strategy to the smooth running of the HR Department and as a strategic partner for all business and support functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • To review, streamline and execute HR budget, systems, guidelines, procedures and policies consistently to ensure HR support goals and objectives of the company
  • To build organisation effectiveness from organisation structure, compensation & benefit, employee engagement, performance evaluation, people competencies and development that align with company’s direction
  • To implement HR measures/initiatives to build a strong culture of service excellence and growth opportunities to attract and retain top talents
  • To lead, guide and coach HR team and the bank’s executive in the area of personal development, resource planning, organisation structure, leadership, Employee relations, Labour Law
  • To create an organisation’s sustainability through talent management and succession planning
  • To work closely with regional HR to implement global projects in the local context
  • To monitor administration function too properly and effectively serving internal clients within timeline

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years direct experience in the HR field from an international company
  • Preferably candidate with experience from financial service, banking or securities business
  • Strategic thinking with strong leadership
  • Strong HR professional skill set especially organisational development and business partner skills
  • Strong command of English is required due to the nature of the business
  • Experienced in stakeholder management, handling complex situation and coaching
  • Thai Nationality due to the nature of the business
